Description

The brick boundary walls in Bushy Park were built between 1734 and 1737 by the 2nd Earl of Halifax, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The walls are approximately 7 feet high and constructed from a mixture of brown and stock brick in English bond, featuring some gate piers and diagonal buttresses. Along Park Road, there is an early 19th-century section made of stock brick with a plinth in black brick, which includes two early 19th-century brick piers. Additionally, there are two curved early 19th-century sections made of stock brick with iron railings above, surrounding the lodge to Bushy Park.
