Description

The Vicarage of St Peter and St Paul is a house built in 1826, with a slightly later extension. It is constructed of yellow brick with a low-pitched slate roof extending to the eaves. The house has two main storeys and is composed of three bays plus one bay, with a single-storey addition to the left and a one-bay, two-storey addition to the right. The central entrance is round-headed, with a round-headed reveal, a half-glazed door, and a decorative fanlight. The square-headed windows on the ground floor are also within round-headed reveals, with gauged brick heads. They feature sash windows with margin glazing, and the windows in the left-hand wing have painted arched lights. Deep eaves are present. The rear elevation is similar in appearance. The interior features a front compartment staircase with turned balusters.
