Description

The Hopkin (Mansel Philipps) tomb is located in the churchyard of St Mary, 25 yards to the southwest of the church tower. This table tomb dates from the early 18th century and is made of stone. It features a large rectangular platform that supports a tomb chest with a gadrooned base and cornice, along with panelled sides. The western side of the tomb is adorned with an elaborate crest in high relief.
