Description
A pair of cottages dating from around 1840. They are constructed of brown brick with a hipped slate roof and a central chimney stack. The cottages have projecting porches, rebuilt at a later date, with doors set to the side. The front elevation is notable for its simplicity, having deep eaves and a recessed central section flanked by sash windows on the first floor. These first-floor windows have gauged brick heads. Ground-floor windows are round-arched, with stone keystones, and feature twelve panes, arranged in a wheel pattern within margin-light surrounds.
