Description
This portion of wall is located on the west side of the River Pickle, between Merton High Street and Merantun Way. It was originally part of the precinct wall of Merton Priory and dates back to the medieval period, although it has undergone later restoration and rebuilding. The wall is constructed of flint and rubblestone and stands approximately 6 feet high.
