Description

The property comprises three late 18th-century houses, originally numbered 43-47 Old London Road. Each house is two storeys high with a mansard garret and two bays wide, with number 45 set slightly forward. Numbers 43 and 47 now have modern shops on the ground floor. The houses are constructed of yellow brick, although number 43 has been painted, and feature flat, gauged brick window arches. They have round-arched doorways, with fanlights above the doorways of numbers 43 and 47. A parapet sits above a blocked cornice, and features a stone cymatium. The roofs are covered in a mix of pan and plain tiles. The buildings are listed primarily for their group value.
