Description

Heathfield Terrace consists of Nos 22 to 26, a row of stucco-fronted houses built in the late 18th century. The houses have Welsh slate roofs and a decorative band separating the ground and first floors. They are three storeys high with a basement. Decorative details include paterae at the corners of a reeded cornice. Each house originally had three windows, featuring flat-arched surrounds and double-hung sash windows with some original glazing bars. The central window of the first floor of each house has a hood on brackets and a small balcony, except for No 26, which has a trellis porch. Nos 24 and 25 have porches supported by Ionic capitals. Nos 22 and 23 have reeded surrounds to the doorways, incorporating original five-panel doors and rectangular glazed fanlights.
