Description
The obelisk in Chiswick Park, dating from the 18th century, stands at the end of the avenue that runs west from the Temple. It is made of stone and features a plinth with carved figures in basso relievo on its north face. The obelisk is approximately 50 feet high. It is part of a group that includes Chiswick House, along with the garden buildings and ornaments.
