Description

Number 43, Richard Reynold’s House, with its associated railings and lamp, dates from the mid-18th century. The building is constructed of brown brick and is two storeys high. It has three double-hung sash windows on the first floor, each within an architrave with a flat arch above. These windows originally had no glazing bars. The front door consists of five fielded panels, with one panel replaced by glass, and is surrounded by an architrave, consoles, a cornice, and a pediment. A decorative band runs above the first floor. The building has a parapet, and a single window is visible on the right-hand wing. A wrought iron railing and a lamp holder are also present.
