Description

Osterley House, located on Jersey Road in Isleworth, was originally built around 1577 for Sir Thomas Gresham and later remodeled by Robert Adam between 1761 and 1765. While a few rooms still feature early Georgian elements, the majority were redecorated between 1765 and 1777. Osterley House is part of a group that includes the Stables, the Temple, the Aviary, and the "Roman Bridge," which is situated in the grounds to the north in the borough of Ealing.
