Description
The Doric Column in Chiswick Park, located north-east of the conservatory, is an 18th-century stone structure. It features a plinth, triglyph, and guttae ornament beneath a moulded cornice, topped with a plain cap. This column originally supported a copy of the Venus de' Medici statue. The column is part of a group that includes Chiswick House, the garden buildings, and other ornamental features.
