Description
The Temple, also known as the Rustic House, is an 18th-century structure located at the end of Yew Walk, northeast of Chiswick House. As of December 1968, it was noted to be in poor repair. The front elevation features a vermiculated rusticated archway topped with a pediment. Inside, there are three niches that contain plinths decorated with swags. The Temple is part of a group that includes Chiswick House and its garden buildings and ornaments.
