Description
The King William IV Public House is a late medieval building that was formerly a hall house. It has two storeys and features modern colourwashed roughcast and short timber framing. The old roof is covered with modern tiles and has hipped ends with gablets. The front facade includes three modern casement windows with small gables above, four modern sash windows, and two doors on the ground floor. A small slate pentice runs along most of the front, and timber framing is exposed at both ends of the facade.
Inside, the ground floor front room has a very heavy exposed beam ceiling in both end bays, while the centre bay has been modernized.
