Description
The Dower House is an 18th-century building located on the east side of High Street in Harlinton. It features a two-storey structure with four windows, constructed of brown brick accented with red brick quoins and window dressings. The high-pitched roof is hipped on the right and has been renewed with machine tiles. A rebuilt 16th-century chimney is present. The building has sash windows with glazing bars, with those on the ground floor set beneath segmental brick arches. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels, and there is a sun assurance sign located at the center of the first floor. Additionally, there is a long rear wing attached to the main structure.
