It has origins dating back to the 12th century and underwent rebuilding in the 13th century, with a late 15th-century west tower. The nave and chancel feature crown post roofs, while the south aisle was added in the 19th century, retaining the old arcade. There is a modern porch at the entrance. Inside, notable features include a 13th-century church chest, a 17th-century pulpit with an hourglass stand, and a font.
