Description

Rose Cottages are a pair of early 19th century timber-framed and weatherboarded cottages located on Noak Hill Road. They are two storeys high and originally two windows wide, with both entrances originally positioned at the outer end of the front wall. The cottages feature an axial stack and a slate roof. A single-storey weatherboarded extension has been added to the west. These cottages hold group value as a well-preserved example of early 19th century vernacular architecture.
