Description

The chest tomb, dating from the 18th century, is located adjacent to the northeast corner of Old Stanmore Church. It is constructed of ashlar and features paired fluted pilasters at the corners. The long sides of the tomb are adorned with garlands and cherubs surrounding oval panels. The inscription on the tomb has eroded over time.
