Description

Nos 45 and 47 High Street were designed by W Woodman of Reading, while No 49 was designed by William Woodbridge, both in 1868. They are three-storey buildings with attic dormers on Nos 45 and 47. No 45 and 47 each have two bays with paired windows to the right, beneath a gable with a fretted bargeboard. The gable to No 49 is half-hipped. The buildings have tiled roofs and bracketed eaves. They are constructed of red brick with blue brick diapering, and feature Gothic windows with delicate tracery bars to Nos 45 and 47. Nos 45 and 47 have good shopfronts, which have been partially altered.
