Description
The Firs is an early 19th century house with subsequent alterations. It features a seven-window central block of two storeys, with two-storey, two-window side wings set back. The property has low-pitched, hipped roofs covered in green slate. The exterior is stuccoed and includes a cill band. A decorative entablature and blocking course are present on the main block, and replaced sash windows with glazing bars are set within moulded architraves; the ground floor windows have rusticated surrounds. A modern central entrance is housed within an open-pedimented Ionic porch. The Firs is part of a group with Little Pipers.
