Arnoside Cottage is a largely restored 18th-century coach house building located on the north side of The Green in Southgate. It is constructed of multi-coloured stock brick and features a hipped tiled roof. The ground floor includes modern sash and casement windows, as well as modern garage doors. This building is included for its group value, as it forms a group with No 3 (Essex Coach House) and No 4 (Essex House), along with No 5 (Arnoside) and Arnoside Cottage, as well as the forecourt railings and gates.
