Description
Rosebank is a small villa dating from the Early Victorian era. It is constructed of yellow stock brick with a new slate roof. The building has a single storey with a semi-basement and a raised ground storey, comprising three bays. Stone steps lead to a central entrance, which is sheltered by a cast iron canopied porch. Sash windows are positioned on either side of the entrance. The roof has a shallow pitch with deep eaves. A single-bay extension is attached to the left; it is two storeys high with sashes featuring segmental heads to the ground floor. Rosebank represents a rare example of a modest Early Victorian suburban villa.
