Description

Addington House comprises a front wing dating to circa 1830, extended to a 2-storey 17th-century timber-framed range. Two further rear wings were added; one early 18th century in brick, and another in 1840, with a rendered finish and a blocked window in its gable. All rear wings have 19th-century slate roofs. The front wing, partly colour-washed and partly rendered, has two storeys and is three windows wide with central doors on its south and east elevations. It features original sash windows throughout. The southern door has an elliptical head, reeded architraves with paterae at the angles, and side lights; it is accessed via a modern porch. The east door is set within a wooden lattice porch. A hipped slate roof overhangs deep eaves.
