Description
The Swedenborgian Church, designed by architect Henley in 1883, is an example of an early and unusual use of concrete in church construction. The church features a north-west entrance with two octagonal towers topped with cement spires. These towers are adorned with columns and trefoil ornamentation in concrete. Between the towers, there is a gable with a round window and a double pointed arched doorcase. The nave includes traceried windows and a clerestory, while the building has a five-sided apse and a tiled roof.
