Description
Nos. 16 to 19 Church Row form a group of Edwardian houses built in a Regency style. The houses are two storeys high, constructed of yellow brick with basements. They have slate roofs and prominent eaves cornices. Nos. 16 and 19 feature two bow windows extending through all floors, accentuated by long and short quoins. Nos. 17 and 18 have recessed wings. The windows are arranged in flat arches, fitted with sashes; No. 19 also has jalousies. Nos. 18 and 19 have doorcases with a round-headed hood, while No. 17 has a fanlight above the door. No. 16 has a flat hood over its entrance. Steps lead up to the street from Nos. 17 and 18, accompanied by wrought iron railings.
