Description

Sunnymead is a large, asymmetrical house dating from the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with blue brick bands defining the storeys, and has a tiled roof. The roofline features two and a half hipped gables, one flat gable, and an octagonal turret. Carved wooden bargeboards decorate two of the gables. The windows are sash windows without glazing bars, although some are double sashes separated by stone half-columns. A large bay window on the ground floor is supported by pilasters. The pointed arched doorcase is adorned with a round terracotta cherub medallion above the door, and the door itself is flanked by stone columns with decorated heads.
