Description

A row of almshouses dating from approximately 1850. The buildings are two storeys high and have a stuccoed exterior, distinguished by long and short quoins marking the divisions between each house. A stone parapet and dropped eaves cornice are present. Each house features a single sash window with a hood moulding and verticals only. A cast iron verandah with a hood runs along the front, and the doorways have simple doorcases. Numbers 11 to 25 (odd) form a group of buildings recognised for their group value.
