Description

The Jubilee Clock is a cast iron structure erected in 1887 through public subscription. It features a square base with an inscription panel and a tapering decorative square section adorned with dolphins and armorial bearings. This supports a fluted circular column that has spiral ornamentation, shields of arms, and swags, topped with a square florentine capital. Above the capital is a cube with a round clock face on each side, crowned by pediments, a central urn, and a spike. The lanterns have been removed.
