Description
Nos 172, 172A, and 172B on Old Road is likely a 17th-century timber-framed house, though its original structure is concealed by later rendered and roughcast walls. The front features two windows, with canted bays on the ground floor that have entrances between them, all sheltered by a continuous catslide roof that forms a porch. Above, there are sash windows, and the building has a parapet and a tiled 'M' roof with end stacks. There are also additions on the left and at the rear.
