Description
The Priory, Priory Cottage, and Beam Ends is a house likely dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the early and late 19th century. It features a timber frame that is rendered, topped with an old tile roof. The building has two storeys and three gables on the main section, though it has been significantly extended. The windows are randomly placed and of various styles, including some Gothic, leaded casements, and sash windows with glazing bars. The rear elevation appears more historic, featuring a stair turret and a tall brick chimney with clustered flues. The interior has been largely modified but includes an open well stair that is now boxed in, along with 10th-century panelling and fireplaces. There are also brick and tile outbuildings located to the east.
