Description

This milestone, dating from the early 19th century, is located outside numbers 842 and 844 High Road, approximately 30 yards south of Ravensdale Avenue in Finchley, N12. It is made of cast iron and has a "V" shape with a rounded head. The inscription reads "Finchley Local Board," indicating distances to London (8 miles) and Barnet (3 miles).
