Description

An early 19th-century pair of houses, Nos. 36 and 38 Torrington Park, with alterations. They are arranged as a two-bay central block linked to one-bay side pavilions, each with a basement and two storeys. No. 38 retains a hipped roof to the central block and a parapet front to the pavilion and link. No. 36 has had its roof renewed and now has a continuous, low-pitched slated roof, hipped on the left. The houses are stucco-faced. Sash windows have moulded architraves, some with glazing bars. The link bay to No. 36 is set back. The entrances feature four-panel doors, partially glazed, under plain fanlights within moulded, round architraves.
