Description
Penfold House, built in 1713 as a Drovers Overnight House, is a two-storey, three-bay house located on Brent Street in Hendon. The building is stuccoed and features a double pitch roof. It has a central entrance that is topped with a raised pedimented hood and a roundel, with a sashed window situated above it. On either side of the main entrance are two-storey bow windows. Although the house has been modernised, it still retains elements of interest. An extension was added in 1924.
