Description

The Grange is a large two-storey house built in the 18th century, with alterations and additions made by Sir Charles Nicholson in the early 20th century. The house is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof. It has six windows across the front and includes projecting wings, with sash windows that have glazing bars. There is an off-centre porch and a modillion eaves cornice. The garden front showcases a two-storey bow, which is considered the most notable external feature of the house. Although it has undergone many changes, it remains a structure of significance.
