The exterior is finished in painted roughcast, and there are three sash windows on each storey, all with cased frames and glazing bars. The roof is an old tiled gambrel style, and there are gabled dormers with casement windows. The house has end stacks and a rear wing that includes two adjoining gables, which are of an earlier date. Additionally, there is a modern single-storey rear extension that has been designed in a sympathetic style.
