Description

This house, located on Montpelier Street in Westminster, dates to circa 1840. It is constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and the ground floor features channelled stucco. The building is four storeys high, including an attic, and has a basement level. It is two windows wide, with the entrance situated on the right-hand side. The doorway and windows have square heads. The front door is panelled, and the windows are sash windows retaining their original glazing bars. Each window is framed by a stucco architrave. An intact cornice runs along the top of the building. A cast iron balcony serves the first floor, and cast iron area railings are present at street level.
