Description
This cabmen's shelter was built in 1893 and restored following fire damage. It is a timber-framed structure with timber infill and timber shiplap boarding. The building has a pitched hipped roof extending to the eaves, and a rectangular plan. It is single-storied and features two windows, with a central planked entrance. Original decorative features include louvred gablets and a central lantern. The shelter was erected by the Cabmen's Shelter Fund and is notable for its group value within the surrounding area.
