Description

This is a row of houses located on Eaton Terrace in the City of Westminster, dating from the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of brick, with slate mansard roofs visible on numbers 72 and 74. The terrace comprises numbers 60 to 74 and is three storeys high, with a basement; numbers 60 to 64 rise to four storeys. Each house has a two-window frontage. The houses feature square-headed entrances with panelled doors, and the ground floor has channelling. Windows are square-headed with gauged heads; the first-floor windows are set within round-headed blind reveals and have cast iron balconettes in an anthemion pattern. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The buildings are topped by a parapet, and have cast iron area railings.
