Heavy cast iron railings on dwarf wall, between stucco dies to area, returned up steps to doorway, the flanking pedestals surmounted by cast iron lamp standards. The stone stairs with cut string and moulded soffit have scrolled wrought iron balusters, moulded handrail, scrolled out at foot. Built as part of Sir Robert Taylor's development of Grafton Street.
