Description

These are a pair of terrace houses on Derby Street in Westminster, dating from the mid-18th century. They are built of brown brick, with the ground floor stuccoed. The houses are four storeys high, with a basement. Each house has two windows. The windows are revealed sash windows, without glazing bars, and are topped by red brick flat arches. The doorways to the left of each house are square-headed with pilasters supporting consoles carrying cornices. The doors are six-panel doors, and they are topped by radial patterned fanlights. Number 4 has an early 19th-century cast iron balcony. The houses have parapets with copings, and cast iron area railings with flambé torch finials.
