Description

This is a row of houses located on Eaton Terrace in the City of Westminster, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow brick, with No. 95 stuccoed throughout. The roofs are mostly hidden, except for Nos. 89, 97, and 99 to 101, which have slate mansard roofs. The houses are generally four storeys high with basements, although Nos. 97 to 101 are three storeys. Each house has a width of two windows. The ground floors have channelled stucco, and feature round-headed entrances and ground floor windows. The entrances have panelled doors. The windows above are square-headed and primarily sash windows retaining their original glazing bars. First-floor windows are ornamented with cast iron balconettes in an anthemion pattern, though Nos. 99 and 101 have 20th-century replacement balconies. The row is topped by a parapet, and has cast iron area railings.
