Description

Two gate piers with lamps flanking the road were built around 1823. They are made of granite and cast iron, featuring square monoliths with block caps similar to those on the Buckingham Gate side of Buckingham Palace. Each pier is topped with short standards that have foliate caps and carry lanterns with crown finials. The original gates have been removed.
