Description
A group of twelve bollards dating from 1828, located at the entrance lock to St Katherine’s Docks. They are constructed of cast iron and each bollard features relief lettering at the top that reads “St Katherine’s Docks, 1828.” These bollards are one of three groups positioned around the quay walls of St Katherine’s Docks, which were built in 1828 to the designs of Thomas Telford.
