Description

The cattle and horse drinking trough, located on the pavement in front of the drinking fountain on Commercial Street, dates from the late 19th century. It is made of granite and was established by the Metropolitan Drinking Fountain and Cattle Trough Association. This drinking trough, along with the drinking fountain and five bollards, forms a group with Christ Church and the Ten Bells Public House.
