Description
Rochester House is a former pair of houses, now functioning as a single office building, located on Dolben Street in Southwark. The building dates back to the 19th century and is constructed of stock brick with a rendered ground floor. It features a slate mansard roof with dormer windows. The structure has three storeys and an attic, with three bays, each containing three windows. The first and second floors have recessed sash windows with gauged, flat brick arches, although the original glazing bars have been replaced. The ground floor was altered in the late 20th century and includes an imitation timber shop front at the centre for No. 43. The interior has been completely remodelled to create a unified space.
