Description
This is a range of terraced buildings on Stockwell Road, likely dating from the late 18th century, with subsequent alterations. The buildings, numbered 148 to 166 (even), are each three storeys high and feature a single window front. They are constructed of painted brick with a stucco frieze, cornice, and blocking course, although much of the blocking course has been removed. Number 146A is slightly set back from the main range. The windows have gauged flat brick arches and contain sash windows with glazing bars, some vertical only. The central and end buildings have tripartite windows, and a lunette window is located on the second floor in the centre. A plaque reading "QUEEN'S ROW, 1786" is positioned below the lunette window. The ground floor features late 19th-century shop fronts with modern glazing.
