Description
This is a group of four terraced houses, numbered 12 to 16, located on Thurloe Place in London, dating to the early 1840s. They form a symmetrical arrangement, with the two end houses projecting slightly forward. The houses are three storeys high with a basement, and each has an attic storey to the end properties. Each house has two windows across the front. The facades are of brick, with channelled stucco details and segmental-headed windows on the ground floor. The first floor windows have iron balconies, architraves, and cornices supported by consoles. A continuous cill band sits above the first-floor windows, and the houses are finished with a cornice and blocking course. Area railings are present.
