Description
These are two linked pairs of houses located at 18-21 Thurloe Place, dating from the early 1840s. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement, and each pair is three windows wide. They are constructed of brick with channelled stucco to the ground floor. The ground floor windows are set within segmental headed recesses. Each recessed entrance is approached by steps and features an Ionic porch. Continuous iron railings run along the first floor. First floor windows have pediments, and the roofs are hipped and slate-covered, with wide projecting eaves supported by brackets. Area railings are also present.
