Description
15A Kensington Palace Gardens is a substantial house built between 1852 and 1854 by D Brandon. It is constructed of gault brick with a stucco finish and features a slated mansard roof. The building has a square elevation that consists of two storeys plus an attic and a mansard, and it is five windows wide. The ground floor windows have semi-circular heads with rusticated architraves and archivolts. There are moulded string and sill courses, along with a dentil cornice. The regular attic storey is topped with a crowning cornice, although the fretted parapet has been removed. The interior has not been seen. This building is noted in the Survey of London, Volume 37.
