Description
No 8 Palace Green is a detached house built in 1908, possibly designed by A Faulkner. The house features a twin gabled design made of red brick with Portland stone dressings. It has three storeys plus attic storeys and a basement. The symmetrical Renaissance gable facades on each side are highlighted by tall mullioned and transomed windows that incorporate the entrance porch. The steeply pitched roof includes dormers. This property has group value with Nos 4 to 7, 9, and 10.
