Description
The Church of Our Lady of Holy Souls is a Roman Catholic church built in 1881, designed by J F Bentley. It features red brick construction with stone bands and a slate roof, showcasing an Early English architectural style. The church has a nave with a tall clerestory, aisles, a transept, and a lower choir. The entrance is located at the west end, which is adorned with three lancet windows above it. Additionally, there is a small octagonal tower with a spire situated at the south-west corner. The south aisle of the church has a return facade that is virtually windowless.
